Choose from our extensive range of recessed downlights, including recessed fixed downlights or recessed adjustable downlights, to light your space perfectly. Fixed downlights point the light directly down, while adjustable downlights allow the angle of the light to be directed as required. How many downlights per room?

When choosing downlights, the main things to consider are the size of the room and what that room is used for. Choosing the right amount of downlights does involve some personal preference, but as a general rule, 1 downlight per 1.4m2 of coverage is suitable for the average roof height. Remember to take note of the kelvin of your downlight. The lower the kelvin, the warmer the light and the higher, the cooler. Which room is right for downlights?

Because most downlights are recessed into the ceiling, they provide a sleek, minimal look great in almost any space, from bedroom to bathroom and everything in between. In most cases, installing dimmable downlights gives you the option to adjust the brightness depending on the task at hand. Most rooms will have standard downlights installed, but adding lighting layers, such as an eye-catching pendant or floor lamp, will further elevate your space's ambience, atmosphere and style.
